APC Afraid To Contest In 2023, Nigeria Better With PDP – Ologbondiyan

 

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has submitted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) itself has lost confidence in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The PDP in a statement on Saturday, 28th November by its spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan argued that the political moves by the APC to convince

Nigerians to accept it in 2023, barely one year into the second term of President Buhari is evidence that the current administration has failed.

The major opposition party added that the early moves by APC is a signal that the party is afraid of being rejected by Nigerians in 2023.

Ologbondiyan stated that the failure of the APC as a party to manage its internal affairs has translated into the inability of the Buhari administration to make any meaningful impact on the development of Nigeria since when it came to power in 2015.

He said “given its failures; the conversation about a possible change of their party’s name as well as the plot to destabilize the PDP, are signs of desperation to hold on to power despite APC’s failures and explicit rejection by Nigerians.”

He added that: “Our party and indeed discerning Nigerians have seen through the rambling of the APC, which is merely raising dusts to foul the political firmament in a bid to cover for its lack of internal cohesion, failure in governance and reneging on the promises they made to Nigerians in other to have access to power.
