HOW NOT TO GET DEPRESSED - ELIXISELEX GROUP

Do you often get tired of situations? Frustrated and feel like throwing yourself off the bridge or just jumping from a very tall building and escaping those heavy thoughts that keep beating your mind back and forth?

I understand life has been dealing with you, sweeping you off your feet and making your efforts prove futile. This and more is capable of making one depressed.

You might not be in that dream body shape yet, you might not be in that dream house or country yet, maybe you've set a target to make a minimum of 50k from your small business but life happened to you and your business liquidated.

Yes, you have the right to question the situation you're in and the way things have turned out to be but…

There's more to life you may not know yet, because you have not achieved your yearly or monthly goals shouldn't shrink you down and turn you into a depressed addict.

Look around you, observe and take note of those tiny changes you experienced at the start of your journey. Now that you have identified those changes, be grateful and become consoled.

For now, I want to help you answer a question that may have been bothering you and giving you sleepless nights. A question of “how do I stop depression?”. Here you have it:

1. ALWAYS CELEBRATE YOUR GROWTH: Not many got to the stage at which you are now, but you kept on pushing harder and being consistent.

No matter how small or unreasonable those growths may look to you they're worth celebrating. Because it simply means you have made a transition from your older self to a new one.

2. HAVE A GRATEFUL HEART: milestones you've climbed, and small wins you have achieved too. Gratitude is a healthy state of mind.

3. SHUN COMPARISON ANALYSIS: Stop comparing yourself to others, nobody has it all figured out: one of the fastest ways to make yourself depressed is comparing your day to 1 to some else day 2. It's sickening to do this.

Acknowledged the fact that growth is in process and some success takes time, know your level, and grow at your pace.

4. LEARN TO IDENTIFY AND CELEBRATE SMALL WINS: don't be too skeptical about those small wins. Sometimes when you hit your goal and do the most, take yourself out on a date,  buy yourself an extra box of pizza, get yourself a bucket of chicken, and enjoy the moment. Don't let the celebration get into your head but don't be too hard on yourself too.

5. LEARN TO ASK FOR HELP QUICKLY AND PROPERLY: Lastly, speak up, ask for help, talk to a friend and don't be ashamed of being vulnerable, but do this with those you trust or can trust with confidential information and feel safe around; Like they do say “A problem shared is a problem half solved”.

I hope you've learned something valuable?
